What is a Beacon?
A Beacon is a unique QR code created exclusively for you. It contains a specific URL that links either to a particular Brand or to yourself. We will explain more about these options in the following sections.
A Beacon is uniquely generated for your account. You will have the option to print it in any quantity and place it in various locations, businesses, venues, stops and of course we have a digital version for online outreach.
Remember, the more locations where you place your Beacon, the greater the exposure, thereby increasing the potential for earnings through each scan and purchase.
How does it work?
Each unique mobile device scan of your Beacon results in commissions for you. Moreover, if a purchase follows a scan, you earn additional commission. The amount of commission varies from Brand to Brand. Some Brands also offer a monthly profit-share. Be sure to understand what your specific Brand offers.
How do I get my unique Beacon?
After creating an account at http://www.nomadbeam.com, access your profile to find your uniquely generated Beacon. You will have the option to print your Beacon using our provided templates as many times as you desire. This is one of those situations where more really is better.
What do I put my Beacon in?
After printing your Beacon, head to Amazon or your nearest office supply center to purchase a sign stand. Placing your Beacon in a sign stand enhances its visibility, whether on a desk or counter.
Choose between single-sided or double-sided sign stands. A double-sided stand displays your Beacon on both sides, creating more opportunities.
Examples of sign holders include:
• 8.5” X 11” Single-Sided Acrylic Stand
• 8.5” X 11” Double-Sided Acrylic Stand
Where do I put my Beacon?
Ideal locations for your unique Beacon are high-traffic areas. Suitable places for your Nomad-specific Beacon include RV Parks, campgrounds, travel centers, rural communities, libraries, coffee shops, college campuses, and any other location where people are likely to seek a superior and secure Internet connection.

I have my Beacon, I have my sign holders, what’s next?
Now that you’re fully equipped, it’s time to strategize your deployment. Begin your journey early in the morning, typically around 8:00 AM, when most businesses open. You have the freedom to drive as far and as long as you wish. This flexibility allows you to control your schedule and the locations you visit.
As mentioned previously, the best places to place your Beacon are in areas with high foot traffic for maximum visibility. This strategy will enhance your chances of accumulating a significant number of scans and potential purchases.
We recommend coordinating with managers or owners of the locations where you wish to place your Beacons to find mutually agreeable spots. Ideal locations are desks, counters, or bulletin boards where your Beacon is highly visible to many people.
For Nomad Internet, we suggest RV Parks, campgrounds, travel centers, rural communities, libraries, and college campuses as prime locations. However, this list is not exhaustive, and we encourage you to explore creative and suitable spots in your community and area.
